COVID-19 Response

Throughout 2020 and 2021 the Henry Schein Cares Foundation supported key nonprofit organizations providing essential aid during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Foundation is proud to have aided the organizations below in their relief efforts.

Direct Relief

Direct Relief

Direct Relief has provided over 5,500 tons of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other medical resources to those in need. The organization has supported 56 U.S. states and territories, as well as 106 countries.

International Medical Corps (IMC)

International Medical Corps (IMC)

With support from the Henry Schein Cares Foundation, International Medical Corps was able to procure and distribute 2,830 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) – including N95 masks and face shields – to the Kedren Community Health Center (KCHC) located in an historically lower socioeconomic, underserved community of Los Angeles County. The PPE was used to protect medial volunteers and healthcare workers as they immunized Angelenos with the COVID-19 vaccines.

National Foundation for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC Foundation)

National Foundation for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC Foundation)

This includes distributing over 7 million pieces of personal protective equipment for frontline workers, providing laboratory and medical equipment, testing support, hiring more than 900 surge staff for health departments, sponsoring national communication campaigns, aiding long-term care facilities and community-based organizations serving vulnerable populations, and supporting much-needed research.

MedShare

Children's Health Fund (CHF)
