Henry Schein Cares Foundation Supports Oral Health America and Children's Dental Health Project to Address Oral Health Needs Across the Age Spectrum
January 2012 —Henry Schein Cares Foundation and Henry Schein, Inc. have provided matching grants of $50,000 to support Oral Health America's Wisdom Tooth Project and the Children's Dental Health Project.

The Children's Dental Health Project seeks to create and advance innovative solutions to achieve oral health for all children. It strives to prevent childhood tooth decay by promoting solutions that are grounded in the best available research and supporting exploration when evidence is lacking. The Children's Dental Health Project engages policymakers to address ongoing inequities in oral health and to implement cost-effective solutions. The Henry Schein Cares Foundation and Henry Schein, Inc.'s matching grants were made possible by the funds raised through Henry Schein Care's Calendar of Caring Community Wellness promotion, a cause-marketing program that enables the customers of Henry Schein, Inc. to make a real impact in society. Through Calendar of Caring, Henry Schein, Inc. offers special products for purchase then donates a portion of the sales to the Henry Schein Cares Foundation. Henry Schein Dental also provided each organization with free advertising space to create awareness for the campaigns.
